Please take time to review our web site, where we describe some of the benefits of doing business in Mexico and attempt to answer frequently asked questions.  This web site will help you learn more about Why Mexico for Maquilas, contrast manufacturing in Mexico vs. China, learn about Our Role, vs. our client's role when partnering together in Mexico, learn about Maquiladora manufacturing in Tijuana, and learn more about TACNA. We hope you find this information both educational and useful.
Let's start by sharing an example of potential savings with you.

Save $3.5 Million with 100 Low Cost Mexican Laborers

Companies operating Maquiladoras or maquilas, as they are sometimes called, enjoy fully burdened direct factory worker labor rates in the $2.50 to $3.00 per hour range.
Calculate the approximate range of savings for your company using the formula below:

Approximate Savings Calculation

Formula:
1-Number of positions  moving to Mexico
2-Multiply by paid hours per year per U.S employee x 2,080
3-Equals work hours moving to Mexico
4-Multiply by Mexico fully burdened direct rate, say $3.00 /hour
5-Equals total direct laborer cost in Mexico =
6-Less fully burdened annual U.S. Cost of positions moved (A) -
7-Equals Annual Savings =

(A) Fully burdened U.S. cost should include wages, employer taxes, medical, other benefits and workers compensation premiums etc. Please calculate your burdened cost and insert here

For example, if a company were moving 100 positions to Mexico and its fully burdened labor rate were $20 per hour, the annual labor related savings would be $3,536,000.

Work with me for a moment! Think of that labor savings number you just calculated for your company. Picture yourself when your accountant hands you the annual financial statements. Open to the income statement.  Look at the bottom line. Not bad huh!!

While labor savings are the most significant savings, there are other potential savings-- lower rent, lower utilities, reduced U.S. human resource benefits administration costs and reduced risk of employee lawsuits, to name a few. Of course there are some incremental costs as well, but the savings well more than make up for them.

The savings are real and achievable. We can get you up and running in as little as 6 to 8 weeks. Click the "Free Pro-Forma" link and we can help you get more specific as to the real benefits your company can achieve, or call us at 619-661-1261. The conversation is all confidential and there is no cost or obligation!

Insulate Yourself From Complexities Of Foreign Operations

Why risk going it alone when trying to establish operations in a foreign country. One company recently told us they spent one and a half years and nearly $200,000 in consulting fees setting up in Mexico. When that company learned about us after the fact-- they told us they sure wished they had met us sooner. We can have your Mexican Manufacturing Maquiladora producing and shipping product in just a few weeks!  See what others say about us.

"Partnering with TACNA we have been able to achieve the following in and through Mexico and TACNA: 1- Significantly lower production costs, 2-Excellent first pass and final test yields, 3-"Seamless" flow of raw material and finished goods between Mexico and California 4-Minimal internal administrative support required for a foreign operation... By maintaining an operation in Mexico we are able to avoid the pitfalls of moving production to Asia."

"Over the past 11 years, we have used TACNA's services to support our operation in Mexico and are very pleased with their performance. When we first started doing business in Mexico, we were using another shelter service provider and we had some very unpleasant experiences with some of their associates. That service provider ended up costing our company a substantial amount of money and lost production time. After severing ties with that service provider, we became partners with TACNA and have found the TACNA organization to be supportive, honest and willing to do whatever it takes to support our business. The TACNA team maintains a high level of integrity and commitment and working with them makes it enjoyable to do business in Mexico."

Why reinvent the wheel. We source your employees, find a facility for you, work with you to minimize or eliminate duties, obtain necessary permits and licenses, establish your Mexican corporation, deal with Mexican tax reporting, etc. You focus on what goes on inside the four walls of your Maquiladora manufacturing facility. This is Mexico Made Easy!  It is almost like manufacturing in the U.S. It is right across the U.S. Border.

Proven Contact or Sub-Contract Manufacturing Services

You don't have to set up your own operations in Mexico to enjoy Mexico's low cost labor benefits. You can also manufacture in Mexico through our contract manufacturing services, also known as Mexico sub-contract manufacturing. Many who start out using our contract manufacturing services later migrate to their own Maquiladoras, with our help. If you later form your own Maquiladora our trained workers would be transferred to your maquila. Our contract manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001:2000 certified. See contract manufacturing for more information.
